The Galleries are divided geographically and by eras: Africa, America, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and Rome, Asia, Europe, Middle East. Some of the famous objects displayed at the museum include Rosetta Stone, The Lewis Chessmen, Colossal bust of Ramesses II.
